CheckerProp invests in and develops real estate in several states across the nation. We currently own properties in Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, and Washington. We are constantly looking to add properties in these markets.
Our primary investment focus is industrial and office buildings. On the development side we only do industrial and residential buildings. We currently own and manage approximately two million square ft of commercial real estate and have several development projects in the pipeline.
We made our first acquisition in 2002 and have continued to grow every year since then. We are a long-term holder and rarely sell any of our buildings. We hold for the long term and are happy to invest in our properties.
Our source of funds is primarily from family offices and our own team. We are well funded and can close acquisitions with cash in a short time frame.
We not only understand the needs of investors but also understand the needs of our tenants. Members of our team have run operating businesses, so we understand how important a functional building with a good working environment can be.
